I began my journey in art a on guard duty break in the Mohave Desert Edwards AFB California. I was sketching a lady portrait when the flight commander asked if I was going to pursue a career in commercial art. I hadn’t, at that time in my young life, heard the term commercial art or any term referring to art other than drawing. He informed I could earn a living doing commercial art. The light bulb appeared over my head and I had a path. That path has lead me through graphic arts, sign production, silk screen production to graphic design. After fifty years of amazing changes in the graphic arts and self education through a creative life, I’m now allowing my self to put down on paper, and a myriad of surfaces those images that float around in that brain of mine.
